Animals don’t cry; they simply tear up in response to irritants in the environment. Only we humans, who have the capacity to feel so deeply, mournfully and intensely about one another, have intricate, emotional memories, and cry tears of sorrow, grief, frustration, anger, joy, excitement and relief.

Western psychology is now catching up to ancient wisdom. In ancient times and societies, people collected their tears in glass and ceramic vessels, to immortalize their sorrow. Such tears were highly valued. We need to realize that even today, having a good, productive cry, and then moving on, is one of the best mind/body cures for the blues, and for any intense emotional build-up, that we have.

via.

U should never ...

U should never base ur happiness on a person or thing it should be found with then ur self worth understanding ur needs and wants and desires are one thing.but to truly know happiness u have to know urself

self is not something ready-made,but something in continues formation through choice of action

sometimes in our relentless efforts to find the person we love we fail to recognize and appreciate the people who Love us.We miss out on so many beautiful things and simply because we allow ourselves to be enslaved by our own selfish concerns.Go for the man of deeds and not for the man of words for you will find rewarding happiness not with the man you love but the man who loves you more. The best lovers are those capable of loving from a distance far enough to allow the person to grow but never too far to feel the love deep with in your being. To let go of someone doesn't mean you have to stop loving them,it only means that you allow that person to find his own happiness without expecting him to come back.Letting go is not just setting the other person free, but it is also setting yourself free from all the bitterness, hatred, and anger that you keep in your heart.Do Not let the bitterness scare away your strength and weaken your faith, and never allow your pain to dishearten you, but rather let yourself grow with wisdom in bearing it.you may find peace in just loving someone from a distance not expecting anything in return. But be careful for this can sustain life but can never give enough room for us to grow. We can all survive with just beautiful memories of the past but real peace and happiness come only with open acceptance of what reality is today.

There comes a time in our lives when we chance upon someone so nice and beautiful and we just find outselves getting so intensely attracted to that person. This feeling soon becomes a part of our everyday lives and eventually consumes our thoughts and actions. The sad part of it is when we begin to realize that this person feels nothing more for you than just a friendship. We start out desperate attemt to get noticed and be closer but in the end out efforts are still unearned and we end up bring sorry for ourselves. You don't have to forget someone you love. What you need to learn is how to accept the verdict of reality without being bitter or sorry for yourself. You would be better off giving that dedication and love to someone more deserving. Don't let your heart run your life, be sensible and let your mind speak for itself. Listen not only to your feelings but to reason as well. Always remember that if you lost someone today, it means that someone better is coming tomorrow if you lose love that doesn't mean you failed in love. Cry if you have to, just make sure that the tears wash away the hurt and the bitterness that the past has left with you. Let go of yesterday and Love will find its way back to you.nothing else should matter if u love someone. Don't let the bad outweigh the good. Yes problems are inevitable but if we overcome it. Our relationship will just grow stronger. If a friendship naturally evolves into something much more. Then keep it strong. Sometimes fear overcomes our decisions. That's when regrets follow. If u trusted the person aversion's you've met. And they still show you that they could be trusted. Then there's something special about that person. Keep them close. Because its soo hard to find the perfect person that compromises who you are. - Unknown

There comes a time...

There comes a time in every woman's life
when she has to take a close look at herself.
Not at her circumstance not at what she did,
not how unfair life is or not at whom made you do it.
She just has to look at herself in all her
GLORY and IMPERFECTIONS...

For many women this is a scary thing because often
times they don't want to know the truth about
themselves. Athena is known as one of the three virgin goddesses, referred to as virgin because they were able to remain independent, unswayed by the spells of Aphrodite, the goddess of love, and the consequent pull of marriage and motherhood. Romance and marriage did not feature in Athena's mythology. In Greek mythology Athena was, in essence, the prototype of the contemporary "career woman".

The Greek goddess Athena was frequently called upon to settle disputes between the gods or various mortals. "Athena Goddess of Wisdom" was known for her superb logic and intellect. Her decisions were usually well-considered, highly ethical, and seldom motivated by self-interest. Not only the goddess Athena's decisions demonstrate her wisdom, but they revealed her great compassion as well.

The name of the Greek goddess Athena remains with us to this day since Athens, Greece, was named in her honor, in appreciation of her gift to them, the olive tree. The goddess Athena is recognized as the protector of cities.

More than any other of the Greek goddesses , Athena remains a symbol of civilization, useful knowledge, noble reasoning, logic and wisdom. The goddess Athena reminds us that we can successfully use our intellect and creativity in the pursuit of any goal we choose.

Celebrating the Feminine

"It is the long condemnation of feminine qualities that has gone deep into the blood and the bones of women. It is man's conspiracy to prove himself superior to women -- which he is not.
And to prove that the woman is weak, he has to condemn all the feminine qualities. He has to say that they are all weak, and all those qualities together make the woman weak. In fact, the woman has all the great qualities in her. And whenever a man becomes awakened, he attains to the same qualities which he has been condemning in women. The qualities that are thought to be weak are all the feminine qualities. And it is a strange fact that all the great qualities come into that category. What is left are only the brutal qualities, animal qualities.
Love, trust, beauty, sincerity, truthfulness, authenticity -- these are all feminine qualities, and they are far greater than any qualities that man has. But the whole past has been dominated by man and his qualities".
Osho, excerpted from Sermons in Stones, Chapter 17

"To acquire some feminine qualities.... And just see, all qualities are feminine: love, compassion, sympathy, service, sharing -- all qualities are feminine.
